A WATERFRONT PARADISE LIKE NONE OTHER IN SOUTH FLORIDA!   This gorgeous, totally remodeled L shaped home has over a hundred feet of waterfront, a sunken patio hot tub off the master bedroom, beautiful heated pool and a dock to park a boat. A large, palm treed patio surrounds the pool and is perfect for entertaining or just quiet family times.   Not only is this beautiful, but centrally located within minutes from golf, beaches, night life, shopping, parks, tennis, restaurants and more.

Seven 8’ glass sliding doors afford incredible views of the pool and waterfront from the kitchen, living room, the dining room, guest room and master bedroom.  Swim in the pool and watch the boats go by or just sit on one of our gliding love seats on the dock and enjoy that view.

THE BEACH !!:  OH LA LA !!  We have 28 miles of unbelievable sandy beaches.  A quick mile and a half drive or bike ride and you can be tanning on the white sand or jumping in the blue, warm Florida ocean.  In season you can pick coconuts and bananas from our trees and actually get a taste of South Florida.

 Inside, tiered granite countertops set off the incredible and spacious custom built kitchen designed for the pickiest chef. All stainless appliances are set off by the cherry cabinets and tan and white granite counter tops plus a light tan ceramic tile floor.  Upholstered stools sit at the raised counter top providing seating for six.  Perfect for the chef who wants to be part of the conversation, while working in the kitchen.  All of this is open to the adjoining 21’ x 14’ living room which is set off with two new, Lazy Boy real leather comfy recliners and a new couch and love seat.  All of this while enjoying a beautiful view of the waterfront, pool and patio.  It’s the perfect place to sit and watch a Sunday football game or evening shows on the 42” plasma television mounted on the wall.  The adjoining 21 x 14 family room and formal dining area also has new furniture, a 27” flat screen TV, stereo, a small computer desk and high speed internet. 

The huge master bedroom affords beautiful water and pool views from it’s two, 8’ glass sliding doors and large window.  Take a ride on our stationary bike or take two steps out a slider and ease down into the sunken patio hot tub. Open the other slider and take a relaxing dip in the heated pool.

 The adjoining large cabana master bathroom has a romantic, sexy shower with plenty of room for two and is enclosed by clear glass block.  Enjoy the ceiling rain shower, wall shower or just bathe in the spray from all of them plus the four wall jets.  The floors and walls of the bathroom are tan and white marble, the counter top black granite and it is all surrounded by wall mirrors.  The cabana door leads to the patio and pool. Guest rooms are on the other side of the house.

 100 feet of dock graces this point waterfront with room to park a couple of 30 foot boats!  You can rent a boat only a mile and a half away, bring it home and park it on the dock for trips up and down the intracoastal. We have both banana and coconut trees abound and you can usually pick a coconut or banana and enjoy a taste of Florida while sitting on the dock enjoying a cocktail or two.  Fishing gear and lures are in the laundry room for your use, throw a line off the dock and catch your dinner. 

What a location!!  A quiet, child safe and crime free residential neighborhood with very little traffic. There are only 9 homes on 12^th Court, traffic is mainly very local, but we are surrounded by activity in just minutes. Two supermarkets within 3 minutes, restaurants and a liquor store within walking distance, a CVS  and Walgreens only two minutes away, a Home Depot, Lowes, Sears, J.C. Penny less than 5 minutes away..  A 36 hole municipal golf course, and the Pompano Air Park, home of the Goodyear Blimp with its 45,000 sq. ft. hanger is only 5 minutes away.  The airport has air taxis, charters, scenic rides, helicopters and even a flying school.  Its 946 acres contain an amphitheater, civic center, 7 plus mile fitness trail for walking, jogging, rollerblading etc.  A community park, tennis courts, a driving range, bike path and a great restaurant, Galuppi’s on the Green.  And of course, beaches, beaches and more beaches.

 Over 3,000  restaurants are located in the area, within only minutes we have Carraba’s, Sea Watch, Outbacks, Hooters, Shooters, Bennigans, Fridays, Houstons, Dunkin Donuts, Charlie’s Crab, McDonalds and on and on.  Chinese takeout and Pizza are a minute away.

A more complete restaurant list with our own ratings is in our “ Guest Book” at the house. Giant shopping malls are only a short drive away.  Kids will love it here as we have parks, water parks, theme parks and water sports galore.

 For a shopping adventure, we have the Sunrise Swap Shop a few miles away.  Here you can find everything from a Rolex watch dealer with $15,000 dollar gold watches to the man selling used junk from a small table.  The huge indoor section has vendors from all over the world selling new jewelry, clothes and about anything you can imagine.  Outside there are hundreds more vendors selling thousands of different items for T-Shirts to knives and stereos.  For the women, go to the Festival Mall which is inside, housing everything from food to eloquent clothes and knick knacks. Hundreds of vendors set up permanent booths here selling about anything you can imagine.  Festival is a favorite tour bus  stop and a place where a shopper can easily spend a fun day and a lot of money

 This area is considered the “Boating Capitol of the World”.  The white fleet, consisting of the largest array of multimillion dollar yachts in the world, owned by the rich and famous all congregate here in the winter.  Some at marina’s, others parked at their owner’s private waterfront mansions also costing millions of dollars.  To see them, rent a boat or take a  Water Taxi  tour to see how the ultra rich live.  Most of these boats are huge, over a 100’ long and more and more elegant than one could ever believe.

 Also enjoy the Ft. Lauderdale Boat show in late October, considered the world’s largest boat show with boats worth over 2 billion dollars.  The Miami Boat Show is held In the middle of February  and is equally huge and fascinating.  A must for boat lovers if only to see what’s new and very expensive.

All we can say is Peaceful & Quiet. My wife and I took two friends down for a much needed vacation. The owners were more than accommodating. The house and property are actually nicer than the the pictures and pool and the canal, are absolutely breathtaking. We loved waking up to the cool breeze of a sunny South Florida morning; listening to the dove's call as the water slowly and calmly flowed outside our bedroom windows. What a peaceful neighborhood! I loved the palm, banana and coconut trees in the yard, and my wife LOVED the spacious kitchen with the lights and the ceiling fan! We had breakfast outside by the pool and to our surprise, not a flying or crawling insect in sight. We also sat on the dock and watched the occasional boat go by as we sat and day dreamed as we sipped our coffees. We didn't try out the hot tub, we'll try that next time around. Oh yes, we will be back and next time we MIGHT bring the kids! Oh, did I mention my wife LOVED the kitchen! LOL

"Our stay at Pompano Beach in this house was really amazing and unsurpassed by any recent vacation. The house was nicely located--close to anything and everything you may want to do. Or you could do nothing but enjoy the pool, scenery, sunny climate, and good accommodations. The house worked very well for two couples traveling together, as we each had our own space (since bedrooms are located at opposites ends of the house), but shared lots of fun times around the pool and cooking/barbecuing together using the wonderful kitchen. The owners, Mal and Diane, are spectacular, providing a notebook of information that was above and beyond an owner's responsibility. In fact, we dined at several of the eateries mentioned in the notebook and were never disappointed. Communication with Owner was excellent from the get-go, always timely, answered questions and full of information. All in all, would highly recommend this rental vacation home."

"Mal and Diane have provided a lovely rental property. We enjoyed the location and especially the pool! Coming from a cool, gray climate, the sunny local in Pompano Beach was great! We entertained a basketball team (adult men) for a BBQ and there was plenty of room for everyone, inside and out! We appreciated the attention to detail that was provided with the house, much more than other property we have rented for a vacation. If we have the opportunity to return to south Florida, we will rent this house again!  The floor plan is perfect for getting together for meals and group activities or when space is needed, since the master suite is on the opposite side of the house from other bedrooms. The rental is continuing to be updated and that will only make it better!
If a person was in a wheelchair or had other physical limitations, this would be a good house to rent, as everything is on one floor, with the exception of the washer/dryer which is one step down. The location is ideal for going to the beach, shopping, or dining out. There is also a great movie theatre close by."
